Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that invites the body into a deeper state of relaxation. By working with the connective tissues and craniosacral system, this modality supports the body’s natural ability to regulate, release tension, and restore a sense of balance.
Sessions may be especially supportive for those experiencing jaw tension, TMJ-related discomfort, headaches, neck tension, stress, difficulty relaxing, or disrupted sleep.
At Bring Healthy Back, located in Pleasant Grove, Utah, I offer individualized sessions in a calm, supportive environment where you can slow down, reconnect with your body, and give your nervous system space to settle.
How does CST work?
Craniosacral therapy is based on the understanding that the body is interconnected, with the nervous system, connective tissues, and surrounding structures all playing important roles in how we move, feel, and function.
Using gentle, intentional touch, a practitioner works with areas of tension throughout the body, including the head, neck, spine, and sacrum. This approach encourages relaxation, eases tension in the connective tissues, and supports the body’s natural self-regulation.
Because the body is interconnected, tension in one area can influence how other areas feel and function. Craniosacral therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, release tension, support nervous system regulation, and settle into a deeper state of relaxation.
Who May Benefit from Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy may be a supportive option for those looking for a gentle approach to relaxation and bodywork. It may be especially appealing if you experience ongoing stress, jaw tension, TMJ-related discomfort, headaches, neck tension, chronic pain, or difficulty sleeping. Sessions also provide dedicated time to slow down, reconnect with your body, and support nervous system regulation in a calm, nurturing environment. Every session is individualized to your comfort and needs.
What Does a Session Look Like?
Craniosacral therapy sessions are gentle, relaxing, and non-invasive. You’ll remain fully clothed throughout your session, so comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended.
Your 75-minute session begins with approximately 15 minutes of gentle hands-on work to address tension in the body’s connective tissue network, known as fascia.
The remaining 60 minutes focus on craniosacral techniques using light, intentional holds around the head, neck, spine, and sacrum. These gentle techniques are intended to encourage relaxation, ease tension, and support nervous system regulation.
Each session is tailored to your individual needs, allowing you time to slow down, settle in, and reconnect with your body.

Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy
Babies and children can benefit from gentle, attentive care, too. Pediatric craniosacral therapy uses light, intentional touch to encourage relaxation and support a child’s developing body.
Sessions are tailored to each child’s age and individual needs, with a gentle approach that prioritizes their comfort and cues. Parents remain present throughout the session.
This can be a supportive addition to your family’s wellness journey, particularly during the newborn and early childhood years. My work as a birth doula has deepened my passion for supporting mothers, babies, and families through the transitions of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
If you’re curious whether a session may be appropriate for your little one, I’d love to connect with you.
